The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts weather disturbances in the Fes-Meknes region starting tomorrow, Friday, including significant snowfall in mountainous areas and strong winds accompanied by dust storms in several provinces.
According to the orange-level weather alert, heavy snowfall is expected in areas above 1,800 meters, particularly in the provinces of Ifrane and Boulemane. The snowfall is set to begin at 11:00 AM on Friday and continue until 6:00 AM on Saturday.
Additionally, strong wind gusts ranging between 70 and 95 km/h, accompanied by dense dust storms, are expected in the provinces of Boulemane, Midelt, and Guercif on Friday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Authorities urge residents, especially in mountainous areas, to exercise caution and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety amid these severe weather conditions.
