Local authorities in the Marrakech Municipality launched an urgent investigation following the spread of videos on social media platforms documenting indecent acts between a man and a woman.
Preliminary data confirmed that the person involved in filming and recording these scenes, which date back to previous periods, works as an authority official in one of the commands under the jurisdiction of the commission.
As part of the measures taken, the local authorities brought the suspect before a disciplinary council, which decided to immediately remove him from his position due to the seriousness of the acts attributed to him, and referred the case file to the competent security services to open a judicial investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, with the aim of clarifying all circumstances and taking appropriate legal measures.
This step reflects the authorities’ emphasis on the professional and ethical behavior of their employees, while emphasizing that any transgression that compromises the integrity of the public service or violates societal values will not be tolerated.
