Training Artisans in Outat El Haj: A Workshop Opens New Horizons for Cooperatives

As part of efforts to support the social and solidarity economy, the Traditional Industry Complex in Outat El Haj hosted a training workshop on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, for local artisan cooperatives. The event was organized by the Regional Directorate of the Office for Cooperative Development in the Fes-Meknes region, in partnership with several key stakeholders in the sector.

This initiative aimed to enhance the capabilities of artisans and develop their skills in management and administration. It was supported by the Provincial Directorate of Traditional Industry and Social and Solidarity Economy in Sefrou, the regional branch of the Chamber of Traditional Industry, and the Traditional Industry Agency in Missour.

The workshop was attended by several officials and sector representatives, including the Regional Director of the Office for Cooperative Development in Fes-Meknes, Mr. Mohamed Timi, a consultant at the Chamber representing Boulemane Province, Ms. Fatima Falfouli, a consultant at the same Chamber, as well as the head of the Traditional Industry Agency in Missour and representatives of the Association of Traditional Industry Complex Users in Outat El Haj.

The main objective of the training was to equip cooperatives with the necessary knowledge and tools to improve their performance and ensure their sustainability. By enhancing management techniques and strengthening the skills of those in the traditional industry sector, the initiative contributes to increasing competitiveness and achieving sustainable local development.
