The union of the owners of the Al-Azhar residence in the African Unity Square in Meknes has sent a complaint to the Meknes governor, requesting urgent intervention to stop a series of violations that affect their daily lives and safety, according to local sources.
The complaint, according to local sources, highlighted that a well-known café in the area is exploiting public property by blocking the sidewalk of the residence, obstructing traffic and causing constant inconvenience to residents.
The complaint also referred to the negative impact of the iron tires and plastic wrappers installed on the facades of the residence, which the residents considered a distortion of the public appearance and a decrease in the attractiveness of the building.
In a related context, the complaint warned of electrical hazards that threaten the safety of residents, as mixed electrical wires were spotted on top of these tires, which poses a real danger in the event of an electrical short circuit.
The complainants called on the local authorities to intervene urgently to remove these violations, stressing the need to find quick solutions that ensure the safety of residents and preserve the aesthetics of the residence.
