Agenda for the Upcoming Meeting of the Moroccan Government Council

The Moroccan Government Council will hold a meeting next Thursday, chaired by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, as announced by the Government Presidency in a press release.

The statement indicated that the meeting will begin with a discussion of a draft law related to Collective Investment Schemes in Securities (OPCVM), as part of efforts to strengthen the legal framework governing this sector.

The Council will then proceed to review two draft decrees. The first aims to amend a decree establishing a temporary directorate within the Ministry of Equipment and Water, responsible for overseeing the development works of National Road No. 1, linking Tiznit and Dakhla. The second decree concerns the amendment and supplementation of the decree regulating the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Animation (ISADAC), as part of efforts to develop the structures of cultural and artistic institutions.

The statement concluded by noting that the Council will wrap up its meeting by discussing nominations for high-level positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Moroccan Constitution. Additionally, the Council will hold a special session dedicated to reviewing draft law proposals.

This meeting is part of the regular duties of the Government Council, aimed at discussing important government legislation and decisions concerning various sectors in the country.
