Morocco Shines at the International Agricultural Show in Paris, as France Prepares for Meknes

As part of the strong bilateral relations between Morocco and France, French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurated the International Agricultural Show in Paris today, Saturday, alongside Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch. The two leaders jointly cut the ceremonial ribbon, marking the official launch of the prestigious event.

Morocco is honored as the guest of honor at the 2025 edition of the exhibition, reinforcing agricultural cooperation between the two nations. The Moroccan delegation includes Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water, and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari, along with Morocco’s Ambassador to France, Samira Sitail, and several key figures in the agricultural sector.

Spanning an impressive 476 square meters, the Moroccan pavilion showcases the country’s rich and diverse agricultural landscape, with a particular focus on smart and sustainable farming—positioning Morocco as a regional and continental leader in the sector.

The 61st edition of the International Agricultural Show in Paris is one of the world’s most significant agricultural events, attracting over 600,000 visitors annually. It features 1,000 exhibitors and showcases nearly 4,000 animals across a 16-hectare space divided into nine pavilions.

Morocco’s prominent participation underscores the deep agricultural partnership between the two countries. In return, France is set to be the guest of honor at the International Agricultural Show in Meknes this April, further strengthening the Moroccan-French agricultural cooperation and highlighting the synergy between their respective experiences in the field.
