In celebration of the National Road Safety Day, which falls on the 18th of February each year, the region of Tata witnessed a series of outstanding awareness and sensitization activities. These activities were organized in educational institutions with the aim of raising awareness among students and promoting road safety culture among them.
This National Day serves as an occasion to enhance the efforts made in combating road accidents, as well as to call upon stakeholders from both the public and private sectors along with civil society to intensify their efforts in developing future strategies for improving road safety.
At the conclusion of these events, and in the presence of Mr. Salah Eddine Amal, the Governor of Tata, the official ceremony for the National Road Safety Day was held at the New School in Tata on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The activities included numerous awareness presentations, practical workshops, songs, and handicrafts, in addition to educational sensitization displays aimed at educating students and the community about the importance of preventing road accidents and the need to comply with traffic laws.
During these events, students received both theoretical and practical guidance to enhance their understanding of the dangers of road accidents and the importance of collective responsibility in addressing this phenomenon.
