The High Council of Accounts announced that the process of renewing the mandatory property declarations officially started on February 3, and includes employees and agents of the state, territorial collectives and public institutions.
According to an official communiqué, the process will continue throughout February in accordance with Article 5 of Law 54.06, which requires certain elected members of local councils, professional chambers and certain categories of public servants to declare their property every three years.
The Council called on those concerned to verify their inclusion in the list of obligors, through the officials designated by the competent authorities, and made available to them an information application on its web portal that allows them to book an appointment with the Supreme Council or regional councils of accounts, according to territorial jurisdiction, to submit their declarations in accordance with the legal procedures in force.
