The newspaper received information through the instant messaging application “WhatsApp” about the suffering of the residents of the Krian El-Hajjoui neighborhood in Fez from the lack of public lighting, especially along the road extending from the Jnan El-Harishi roundabout towards the neighborhood, where a group of lamps have been out of order for some time without any intervention to repair them.
Some citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the total darkness that prevails in the area at night, which hinders traffic and raises security concerns for passersby, especially in the absence of tangible solutions from the competent authorities.
In this context, residents are calling on the local authorities to intervene urgently to repair the faults and restore lighting to this road axis, to avoid any accidents or security issues that may result from the continuation of the current situation.
