Mr. Abdelmoumen El Badali, President of the National Union of Judicial Transcribers in Morocco, operating under the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT), announced that the union’s regular national council meeting will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the UMT headquarters in Rabat, starting at 10:00 AM.
According to the announcement issued on February 3, 2025, this meeting comes in accordance with Article 9 of the union’s constitution and will be dedicated to discussing recent developments regarding the transcription profession and ways to protect transcribers’ rights in light of the Ministry of Justice’s move toward ending the profession.
The council will be held under the slogan “Ending the Transcription Profession: What Legal and Social Guarantees for Judicial Transcribers?” The invitation has been extended to all members to participate in this important council meeting that will discuss the future of the profession and the rights of its practitioners.
