The city of Fes is set to host a major international conference titled “Procedural Laws Under Reform: Challenges of the Right to Defense and Protection of Rights”, scheduled for February 14-15, 2025, at the Marriott Hotel in Fes.
Organized by the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) in partnership with the Fes Bar Association and the Association of Moroccan Bar Associations, the event will bring together leading legal experts and academics from various countries. The discussions will focus on the challenges posed by procedural law reforms and their impact on the legal profession and the rights of litigants.
This initiative aligns with Morocco’s ongoing efforts to modernize its legal framework and strengthen the role of lawyers in safeguarding rights and freedoms. It also serves as a platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange among legal professionals, aiming to develop new perspectives that meet the demands of contemporary justice.
