The Sebaa Ayoun Municipality, located in the El Hajeb Province, is set to hold an extraordinary session on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at the municipality’s headquarters. The session will address key points on the agenda focused on local development and improving communal services.
According to a document obtained by Fes News, the session will begin with the election of members and heads for the Public Facilities and Services Committee and the Human Development, Urban Planning, and Territory Preparation Committee, as well as their deputies. Additionally, representatives will be elected for the Sebaa Ayoun Municipality within the Green Communities Group, and a member and deputy will be chosen for the Electoral List Review Committee.
The discussions will also include the approval of a representative for the municipality in the Fes-Meknes Territorial Distribution Group, in addition to budgeting the surplus from the year 2024.
Regarding developmental projects, the council will review and discuss a partnership agreement to fund and implement a wastewater treatment project in Sebaa Ayoun, as well as approve the cancellation of a previous partnership with the Oued Jdid Municipality concerning the weekly market.
Moreover, the agenda will include a vote on applying for a loan from the National Fund for Municipal Equipment, which will support the funding of the wastewater treatment project. The council will also vote on a project to establish a craftsmen complex in Sebaa Ayoun, aimed at boosting the region’s craft and traditional industries.
This session is expected to include intensive discussions on these points, as they will have a direct impact on the local development and the operation of municipal services in Sebaa Ayoun, especially in light of the current challenges facing the municipality.
