On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, the Fez-Meknes Academy organized an informational and communication meeting at the Regional Center for School and Vocational Guidance to introduce the Preparatory Classes for Excellence at the Mediterranean Sea High School (LYMED). This event was in line with the agreement signed between the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports and the Tangier Mediterranean Foundation for Human Development.
The meeting was attended by over 90 students from the scientific stream of both public and private schools in the Fez and Moulay Yacoub regional directorates. In addition, several educational guidance officers, school principals, and parents were present.
The meeting covered an introduction to the Preparatory Classes for Excellence, explaining the requirements for admission, the application process, and the training and professional opportunities these classes offer. The event also highlighted a scholarship program for high-achieving students in the second year of the baccalaureate in the scientific stream. A documentary video showcasing the modern facilities and equipment provided by Mediterranean Sea High School was also presented.
The event provided an opportunity for the attending students to ask questions about the preparatory class system, with representatives from the institution offering detailed responses to all queries, demonstrating transparency and effective communication between the educational institution, students, and their families.
