As part of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) strategy to promote leadership rotation and empower young talents, the DGSN announced, on Wednesday, February 5, a series of new appointments in various Moroccan cities, covering ten key security positions within decentralized public security departments.
Approved by Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security, the appointments include:
Deputy Head of Regional Security in Ouarzazate
Six new heads of police districts in Azemmour, Zagora, and Casablanca
Heads of urban security units in Mechraa Bel Ksiri and Souk Sebt Oulad Nemma
Head of the Traffic Unit in Khenifra
These appointments aim to enhance efficiency in security operations, ensuring improved public safety and better service to citizens. They also reflect the DGSN’s commitment to empowering young security professionals and strengthening law enforcement management across Moroccan cities.
