Indian Ambassador Visits Fes Chamber of Commerce to Explore Promising Investment and Economic Cooperation Opportunities

Fes News learned today, Wednesday, that Hamza Ben Abdellah, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Fes-Meknes Region, hosted the Ambassador of India to Morocco. The ambassador was accompanied by Mehdi Al-Iraqi Al-Husseini, Noufel Al-Mars, and Amin Amour in a meeting dedicated to discussing the region’s economic potential and investment opportunities.

According to available information, the meeting served as an opportunity to highlight the economic strengths of the Fes-Meknes region, showcasing the Chamber’s role in fostering economic development and supporting major projects. Discussions also covered potential collaborations with Indian institutions and business chambers.

The meeting also explored the exchange of business delegations between Fes-Meknes and India to strengthen business ties, develop investments, and boost bilateral trade and exports.

Another key topic was the upcoming Economic Forum in June 2025, which will host the General Assembly of the African and Francophone Chambers of Commerce and Industry Network. The ambassador was invited, along with Indian institutions and economic stakeholders, to actively participate in this significant event.

At the end of the meeting, commemorative gifts were exchanged, symbolizing the strengthening of economic ties and mutual cooperation between Morocco and India.
