In an exclusive statement to Fes News, Said Ahrim, a member of the General Union of Enterprises and Professions in Fes, emphasized the significance of this event in promoting Amazigh culture as an integral part of Morocco’s national identity. He explained that the festival featured various folkloric performances, with Amazigh dance groups like “Aassawa,” “Ahidus,” and “Ahwash” performing traditional dances that reflect the authentic Amazigh heritage.
Ahrim also highlighted that the second edition of the festival was marked by honoring individuals who have contributed significantly to the cultural and economic scene, as well as recognizing new faces who have supported and promoted cultural activities within the General Union of Enterprises and Professions. Ahmed Filal, the president of the General Union of Enterprises and Professions, and Abdul Majid, the parliamentary representative for Fes, were present, further reflecting the strong support this sector enjoys across the Kingdom.
Ahrim also praised the significant support provided by various companies and partners to the event, commending the role these collaborations play in enhancing Amazigh culture and expanding the reach of the General Union of Enterprises and Professions’ activities.
