Condolences and Sympathy from the Fes News Team
With hearts full of faith in God’s will and decree, the Fes News team extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the family of the late Commander Youssef Oulad Alla, leader of the Smara military garrison, who passed away on the morning of Sunday, February 2, 2025, due to a heart attack at his home at the age of 63.
We remember the remarkable journey of the late commander, who was born on February 15, 1962, in Marrakech. He joined the Royal Military Academy on September 1, 1984, and graduated as a Second Lieutenant on July 1, 1987. His long and distinguished military career, spanning several decades, was marked by dedication and loyalty, particularly in the southern region, where he served for over 23 years.
Commander Youssef Oulad Alla was a true example of responsible leadership, taking part in numerous national and international missions. He was promoted to the rank of Commander in 2018, after which he led the Smara military garrison with excellence and efficiency.
We pray that God grants him boundless mercy and forgiveness, and that he finds eternal peace in paradise. May his family and colleagues find strength and patience in this difficult time.
Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un.
