Jawaher Association Organizes Free Medical Campaign in Fes Old Medina

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, the Jawaher Association organized a free medical campaign at the Lalla Ydouna Industrial Complex in the old medina of Fes, targeting local residents and their families. The initiative was carried out in coordination with local authorities, various associations, and community partners, providing diverse medical services to underserved groups.

In an exclusive statement to Fes News, the association’s treasurer highlighted that the campaign covered several key medical specialties, including general medicine, ophthalmology, gynecology, cardiology, and psychological counseling. He emphasized the association’s commitment to supporting traditional artisans and their families, aiming to improve the community’s health conditions.

He stated:
“We meticulously organized this medical caravan in collaboration with local partners, with numerous specialized doctors providing essential treatments to attendees. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this campaign, from local authorities to partner associations.”

The association’s president reiterated that this campaign is the first in a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare in the old medina’s underserved neighborhoods. He added:
“We are planning more events focusing on residents’ health, along with recreational activities that foster social connection within the community.”

The president also praised the collaborative efforts of all involved parties, underlining the importance of coordination between associations and local authorities to effectively address citizens’ needs. Additionally, he revealed the association’s plans to launch more medical campaigns in the future to expand the scope of beneficiaries.
