As part of a strategy to enhance the rotation of leadership positions and open opportunities for young talents, the General Directorate of National Security announced today, Wednesday, January 22, a new list of seven appointments to leadership positions within the decentralized services of national security in the cities of Ouarzazate, Casablanca, Tinghir, and Chefchaouen.
The appointments, approved by the Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, included internal mobility among heads of judicial police teams in the security areas of Anfa, Sidi Bernoussi, Zenata, and Moulay Rachid under the Casablanca Security Division. Additionally, new security personnel were appointed to lead other decentralized public security and judicial police services, including the appointment of heads of two police districts in Chefchaouen and Tinghir, as well as a head of the technical crime unit in the regional security department in Ouarzazate.
These appointments are part of an ongoing dynamic aimed at enhancing the efficiency and productivity of police human resources by facilitating the rotation of leadership positions. The Directorate seeks to assign field management responsibilities to highly trained and qualified security professionals capable of implementing action plans aimed at strengthening citizen safety and ensuring the protection of property.
These steps come at a time when the demand for security and effective responses to increasing security challenges is on the rise, reflecting Morocco’s commitment to enhancing and developing its security capabilities.
