Inauguration of a New Wiring Factory for Vehicles by the German Group Leoni in Agadir

The German group Leoni has inaugurated a new factory for manufacturing vehicle wiring in the city of Agadir, during a ceremony presided over by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch. This factory required an investment of 230 million dirhams and is expected to create 3,000 jobs by 2027. At the national level, Leoni plans to create a total of 19,000 jobs in Morocco.

The factory spans an area of 7.6 hectares, with over 19,000 square meters dedicated to production. This project is part of the group’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the automotive sector and meet the growing demand for vehicle wiring.

The opening of this facility marks an important step towards industrial development in Agadir and reflects Leoni’s commitment to the Moroccan economy.
