The Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in the Fez-Meknes region organized a communication meeting on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, in commemoration of World Family Planning Day. The event, supported by the United Nations Population Fund, witnessed notable attendance from officials and specialists in reproductive health and family planning.
Participants included officials from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, along with staff from the Regional Directorate and managers of the Mother and Child Health program from provincial health delegations in the Fez-Meknes region. Representatives from civil society organizations working in maternal and child health were also present.
The presentations during the meeting focused on the National Strategy for Sexual and Reproductive Health 2021-2030, highlighting key achievements and measures taken within this framework. Speakers also addressed the topic of self-care in sexual and reproductive health, which sparked extensive discussions and exchange of opinions and experiences among participants.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants praised the importance of this interactive study day, affirming their commitment to continue working on enhancing sexual and reproductive health in the region.
