In a significant milestone in her artistic journey, visual artist Hoda Belkari inaugurated her first solo exhibition in the city of Fez, showcasing over 25 artworks that reflect her deep passion for the animal kingdom, particularly horses. The horse, a symbol of strength and courage, also serves as a cultural bridge connecting Morocco’s past with its present.
Belkari revealed that she dedicated an entire year to crafting this collection, which she described as a profound exploration of the relationship between horses and cultural heritage. According to the artist, horses represent more than just a subject of art—they symbolize authenticity, untamed beauty, and a cultural identity worthy of celebration.
“I wanted this exhibition to portray a living legacy that expresses the power and beauty embodied by horses in our traditions.
