A new Moroccan team of 34 members equipped with 31 vehicles arrived this morning at the Port of Motril in Granada to assist in removing mud and sediment left by floods in Spain’s Valencia province.
The Moroccan team is scheduled to begin work tomorrow in areas affected by the “DANA” weather phenomenon, which caused heavy rainfall and flooding in the region.
This support comes as part of a broader initiative to deal with the aftermath of recent floods that severely hit the area, demonstrating Morocco’s commitment to contributing to relief and recovery efforts alongside Spanish local authorities.
