In a significant development for Morocco’s fish trade sector, the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests is scheduled to inaugurate the new wholesale fish market in Fez soon, following the completion of its construction and equipment installation.
This ambitious project, which took 18 months to complete, is part of a national strategy to modernize commercial infrastructure and develop the fishing sector in the kingdom.

The project was overseen by the Fez Municipality in collaboration with the National Fisheries Office, alongside a group of specialized companies and offices, including:

- Geotechnical Laboratory: LEG

The new market features a modern design that includes spacious buildings equipped with the latest technologies, as well as green spaces and parking lots, reflecting the comprehensive vision for developing commercial facilities in the city.
