Fes – As part of the intensive preparations for hosting the 2030 World Cup finals, Minister of Interior Abdelouafi Laftit praised the significant efforts made by the Wali (Governor) of the Fes-Meknes region, Said Zniber, in preparing an important launch pad for the anticipated projects.
During the extended meeting held today in Fes, attended by the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation Fouzi Lekjaa and regional officials, Mr. Laftit emphasized that Said Zniber’s efforts were crucial in establishing the initial plans and basic infrastructure that will contribute to the success of this major sporting event.
The Minister added that joint work and effective coordination between various parties is the way to ensure achieving the desired goals, noting that the ongoing preparations reflect the strong commitment to implementing the Kingdom’s vision to make the 2030 World Cup a historic event that highlights Morocco’s ability to organize major international events.
