The Fès Primary Court on Friday evening sentenced the owner of the song “Uncle You have Beautiful Daughter” to two years in prison and a fine, and ordered the video to be removed from all online platforms.
The rapper, from the “jnan elward” neighborhood, faces charges of “incitement to commit misdemeanors, public indecency, incitement to abortion, facilitating prostitution of a minor under the age of 18, and incitement to prostitution.”
The owner of the song has been detained for two weeks, and the case file was discussed in three sessions before the court issued its final ruling.
This is the third such sentence handed down to a rapper in the city of Fès in recent weeks, due to the content of their songs, which was deemed indecent and inciting to corruption.
