On Saturday, 18 May 2024, the Governor of Fez Meknes region, Mr Said Azniber, along with a delegation, paid an inspection visit to the Jnan El Sabil Park in Fez.
This comes to see the latest progress of works in the park, in preparation for the Festival of Spiritual Music, which will take place in the spiritual capital of the Kingdom, between 24 May and 1 June 2024.
The Fez World Music Festival is a prominent cultural event that embodies the spirit of coexistence and harmony between different cultures and reflects the rich heritage of the city of Fez as a centre of arts and spirituality.
Under the theme ‘Longing for the Spirit of Andalusia’, the 27th edition of the festival hosts Spain as a guest of honour, underlining the historical and cultural ties between the two countries.
Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the festival is expected to attract a large number of visitors looking to explore the city’s rich cultural and musical heritage.
The festival is a unique opportunity for artists and musicians to showcase their talents and for audiences to enjoy a diverse and colourful cultural experience that spans time and space, reinforcing Fez’s position as a global cultural destination.
