The “Young Journalists for the Environment” program is considered an educational program intended for students at the preparatory and qualifying secondary levels between the ages of (11-14) (15-18) (19-21), aiming to sensitize them to local environmental problems, through a procedure supervised by their teachers. Written or pictorial reports. This program, which is included in all school subjects, addresses important topics: the city, agriculture, the coast, waste, water, energy, biodiversity and solidarity.
An additional special topic is chosen each year. The students’ works are crowned by a national committee consisting of professionals, to which the institution delegates this task, within a competition organized annually according to a memorandum issued by the Ministry for this purpose. The works are then sent to the International Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) in order to compete with their international counterparts.
