New Social Facilities Inaugurated at the Al-Ghassani Regional Hospital in Fez

The Al-Ghassani Regional Hospital in Fez held an inauguration ceremony yesterday, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, for new social facilities. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Salima Saasae, the Regional Director of Health and Social Protection for the Fez-Meknes region, Mr. Ibrahim Obaha, President of the Hassan II Foundation for the Promotion of Social Work, as well as the staff of the regional directorate of health and social protection, and the staff of the center.

This initiative, which is part of the Ministry of Health’s commitment to providing a comfortable and suitable working environment for all health workers, aims to strengthen the social services provided to employees and provide appropriate spaces for rest and recreation.

In her speech on the occasion, Dr. Saasae stressed the importance of these new facilities in improving working conditions for employees and strengthening their sense of belonging to the institution, praising the fruitful cooperation between the ministry and the Hassan II Foundation for the Promotion of Social Work in the completion of this project.

For his part, Mr. Obaha expressed his happiness to participate in the opening of these facilities, which embody the institution’s keenness to support human resources in the health sector and provide the best conditions for their work.

The new facilities include spaces for rest and recreation, a library, a gym, and a cafeteria that offers a variety of food at symbolic prices. These facilities have been well received by the staff, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this initiative, which will contribute to improving the work environment and raising their morale.

The opening of these new social facilities is an important step in the framework of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to provide a healthy and comfortable working environment for all workers in the sector and to strengthen their sense of satisfaction and belonging.
