Maroc – Le président de la Fédération royale marocaine de football, Fouzi Lekjaa, a salué le travail accompli par l’ancien sélectionneur national Walid Regragui durant la période où il a dirigé l’équipe nationale marocaine, à l’occasion d’une cérémonie organisée pour rendre hommage à l’entraîneur national après la fin de sa mission à la tête des « Lions de l’Atlas ».
Morocco – The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, praised the work accomplished by former national team coach Walid Regragui during the period he led the Moroccan national team, during a ceremony organized to honor the national coach after the end of his mission at the helm of the “Atlas Lions”.

Dans son discours prononcé lors de cet événement, Lekjaa a salué ce qu’il a qualifié « d’exploit historique » réalisé par l’équipe nationale marocaine lors de la Coupe du monde 2022 au Qatar, lorsque la sélection a réussi à atteindre la quatrième place, soit la meilleure performance de l’histoire du football marocain, arabe et africain dans un Mondial.
In his speech during the event, Lekjaa praised what he described as a “historic achievement” accomplished by the Moroccan national team during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when the team managed to reach fourth place, the best performance in the history of Moroccan, Arab, and African football in a World Cup.

Le président de la Fédération a affirmé que cet exploit restera une étape marquante dans le parcours du football marocain, ajoutant que l’accession aux demi-finales de la Coupe du monde « constitue un accomplissement qui restera gravé dans la mémoire des Marocains et contribuera au développement futur de l’équipe nationale ».
The federation president affirmed that this achievement will remain a landmark in the path of Moroccan football, adding that reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup “is an accomplishment that will remain engraved in the memory of Moroccans and will contribute to the future development of the national team”.
