As part of ongoing security efforts to combat crime and maintain public order, the Casablanca Judicial Police, in coordination with their counterparts in Kenitra, successfully arrested a suspect with a criminal record involved in a widely discussed incident on social media.
According to available information, the suspect was responsible for a violent disturbance in one of Casablanca’s streets, where he allegedly threatened pedestrians with a bladed weapon. The situation escalated when police intervened, as the individual fiercely resisted arrest, causing material damage to a National Security vehicle.
Thanks to thorough investigations and precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for National Territory Surveillance, authorities identified the suspect’s whereabouts and managed to apprehend him in Kenitra in a carefully executed security operation.
The suspect has been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover all details related to the case and determine the corresponding legal responsibilities.
