The Moroccan Ministry of Interior announced today, Monday, December 1, 2024, the opening of registration for the general electoral rolls as part of the annual review for 2025, with the process continuing until the end of the current year.
The Ministry has made registration available for unregistered citizens who are 18 years of age or will reach this age by March 31, 2025, through two channels: local administrative authority offices or the website www.listeselectorales.ma.
Regarding data updates, the Ministry called on voters who have changed their residence outside their municipality or district to submit requests to transfer their registration to their new areas. It also requested residents who have changed addresses within the same municipality to notify local authorities to update their information.
To facilitate the process for citizens, the Ministry has provided a service to verify personal information in the electoral rolls either by visiting local authorities or sending a text message to the toll-free number 2727.
The Ministry has set December 31, 2024, as the deadline for completing all operations related to registration and data updates in the electoral rolls.
