The Court of First Instance in Laayoune held an official session on Thursday, November 14, to inaugurate six new judges, marking a significant step towards enhancing judicial operations and promoting justice in the region.
The session was presided over by Judge Bahija El Ismaili, President of the Court, in the presence of Public Prosecutor Abdullah Ahman and various judicial and official figures.
The appointments included four judges for the Court of First Instance in Laayoune, one stationed in Tarfaya and another in Boujdour, along with two deputy public prosecutors for the same court. These additions aim to bolster judicial resources, meet citizens’ needs, and improve the quality of judicial services in the southern provinces.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Governor of Boujdour Province, Mr. Ibrahim Ben Ibrahim, and the Governor of Tarfaya Province, Mr. Mohamed Hamim. Also present were Mr. Ibrahim Ben Tazrit, President of the Laayoune Court of Appeals, and Mr. Mohamed Raoui, Public Prosecutor of the same court, along with judicial officials and local elected representatives.
