Massive Solidarity Stand in Fez in Support of Palestine and Denouncing Israeli Occupation Crimes

The “Moroccan Coalition to Support Palestine” organized a massive solidarity protest stand in the Moroccan city of Fez, as part of a series of popular movements taking place in major Moroccan cities to denounce ongoing Israeli crimes against civilians in Gaza.

Participants in the stand, which was organized in one of the old city’s streets and witnessed a notable presence of various age groups including women, men, and children, raised banners denouncing the genocide crimes against Palestinians. One of the main banners read “Stop Genocide” accompanied by symbols representing blood and violence.

The protesters emphasized in their banners that “Al-Aqsa Flood is an extension of the Palestinian people’s march in struggle and defense of their blessed land until liberation.” They also expressed their support for the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The protest stand in Fez was marked by a notable presence of women from Fez wearing Palestinian keffiyehs as a symbol of solidarity. Children also participated in the stand carrying Palestinian and Moroccan flags, in a scene reflecting the depth of popular solidarity in Fez with the Palestinian cause.

This demonstration comes in the context of the ongoing wave of popular solidarity witnessed in the city of Fez with the Palestinian people, reflecting the city residents’ firm position in supporting the legitimate rights of Palestinians and rejecting Israeli practices targeting civilian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
