The city of Ifrane hosted the sixth edition of its International Festival, which witnessed a wide public turnout, with attendance exceeding 130,000 people. Many visitors expressed their happiness with this distinguished cultural event, which combines Moroccan art and heritage, emphasizing its importance in preserving national identity.
In a statement to the “Fez News” correspondent, one of the attendees expressed his great admiration for the festival, praising the tight organization and the diverse artistic segments presented during the event. He also emphasized the vital role of the festival in preserving Moroccan heritage, especially Amazigh music, which is an essential part of the region’s identity.
For his part, another speaker pointed out that the Ifrane International Festival represents more than just a cultural event, as it is considered an outlet that brings together citizens of different ages and backgrounds to celebrate their culture and heritage. He added, “I make sure to attend this festival every year, as it is an opportunity to enjoy music and dance and learn about other cultures.”
The Ahidous symphony received great interest from the audience during the opening day, as it managed to attract attendees to a world of authentic Amazigh rhythms and melodies, which gained it wide admiration.
