Morocco Crowned Champion of Arab Youth Athletics Championship in Egypt

The Moroccan national team achieved a remarkable sporting success by winning the title of the Arab Athletics Championship for the under-23 category, held in the Egyptian city of Ismailia from July 5 to 9. The Moroccan team managed to retain its title for the second consecutive time, topping the medal table with a total of 32 medals.

In detail, the Moroccan national team secured 16 gold medals, 11 silver, and 5 bronze, affirming its superiority in various championship events. This achievement came in strong competition with the host Egyptian team, which finished second with 39 medals (12 gold, 16 silver, and 11 bronze), followed by the Algerian team in third place with 15 medals (6 gold and 9 bronze).

The championship witnessed wide participation from young athletic talents, with athletes from 12 Arab countries competing, reflecting the importance of this sporting event in promoting positive competition and developing athletics in the Arab region.
