Fes – During the extended meeting held today in Fes, attended by Minister of Interior Abdelouafi Laftit, the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, expressed great admiration for the presentation given by Mr. Yassine Tazi, Director of the Regional Investment Center for the Fes-Meknes region, regarding the planned projects for hosting the 2030 World Cup.
Mr. Tazi presented a comprehensive and detailed vision of the ambitious projects to be implemented in Fes, which include developing infrastructure, improving transportation, and enhancing accommodation capacity, all as part of the intensive preparations for this global sporting event. The presentation was well-received by all and highlighted the efforts being made to ensure that Fes is fully prepared to host this major international event.
This step comes as part of the intensive preparations underway in the spiritual capital of the Kingdom, aiming to translate the Kingdom’s vision of jointly organizing the World Cup with Spain and Portugal, in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
