On Monday evening, 3 June 2024, the city of Fez witnessed a large number of residents in a protest march against the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army against Palestinian civilians in the occupied Gaza Strip.
The march and vigils
The march travelled through the streets of Fez city centre, where participants stood at several points to chant slogans denouncing the ongoing Israeli aggression against unarmed civilians in Gaza. The demonstrators held banners expressing their solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the crimes committed by the occupation forces.
Maintaining order
The march was accompanied by a security escort to ensure public order and the peaceful conduct of the protest event. Security forces worked to organise traffic to ensure public safety.
Protesters’ demands
Participants in the march expressed their demands for an immediate end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and called on the international community to take a firm stance against the crimes and violations against the Palestinian people. They also emphasised the need to support the Palestinian resistance and work to achieve justice and end the occupation.
The march is part of a series of solidarity events taking place in several Moroccan and international cities, expressing unequivocal rejection of Israeli aggression and calling for peace and justice for the Palestinian people.
