Marrakech: Abdellatif Hammouchi Hosts Lavish Official Dinner at El Badi Palace in Honor of Global Security Leaders at Close of Second Day of Interpol Assembly

Marrakech – November 26, 2025

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, hosted this evening, Wednesday, a lavish official dinner at the historic El Badi Palace, in honor of more than 1,200 high-level security figures participating in the 93rd session of the Interpol General Assembly (November 24-27, 2025).

The dinner was attended by:

  • His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita
  • Delegate Minister for Budget, Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa
  • General Mohammed Harmo, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie
  • Director General of Studies and Documentation, Mr. Mohammed Yassine Mansouri
  • Governor of Marrakech-Safi Region, Mr. Khatib El Hebil

The event featured 16 folklore troupes representing Morocco’s cultural diversity from north to south, in an atmosphere that combined authentic Moroccan hospitality with the historic grandeur of the Saadian El Badi Palace, leaving a strong impression on international guests who praised Morocco’s exceptional organization of this global event.

This dinner crowns a day full of bilateral meetings conducted by Mr. Hammouchi (43 official meetings) and confirms Morocco’s position as an authoritative security partner at both regional and international levels.
