Marrakech: Abdellatif Hammouchi Holds 43 High-Level Bilateral Meetings on the Sidelines of Interpol General Assembly..

Marrakech – November 26, 2025

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, and the accompanying security delegation, conducted 43 intensive bilateral meetings with heads of delegations from countries and international organizations participating in the 93rd session of the Interpol General Assembly held in Marrakech (November 24-27, 2025).

These meetings, all of which were requested by foreign delegations, included countries from the five continents and prestigious international organizations, and focused on:

  • Evaluating and strengthening bilateral security cooperation
  • Opening new partnerships with European, Asian, African, and Latin American countries
  • Exchanging expertise in combating cybercrime, terrorism, transnational organized crime, and enhancing law enforcement

  • Europe: Germany (BKA President), Spain, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Serbia, Russia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Belarus, Hungary
  • Africa: Benin, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Mali, Cameroon, Namibia, Rwanda, Sudan, Niger, Chad, Senegal, Gabon, Kenya, Mozambique
  • Latin America and Caribbean: Chile, Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Panama
  • Asia: India, Turkey, Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia, Yemen, China, South Korea, Nepal

Multilateral Meetings:

  • Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council
  • President of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences
  • UN Under-Secretary-General for Rule of Law Affairs (UN Police Chief)
  • Head of the World Economic Forum’s (Davos) Cybersecurity Centre

Signing of Two New Agreements:

  1. Memorandum of Understanding with the Norwegian National Police to strengthen the fight against transnational organized crime
  2. Cooperation agreement with the Ethiopian Federal Police covering technical support, training, and intelligence exchange in the field of violent crimes and terrorism

These meetings confirm Morocco’s position as a trusted and authoritative security partner at the international level, and reinforce the Moroccan security model as a tool serving the Kingdom’s supreme interests and supporting regional and international stability.
