Nador – Elements of the Anti-Gang Squad of the Regional Security in Nador managed, on Monday morning, November 17, 2025, to arrest a 37-year-old person with numerous criminal records, on suspicion of involvement in a case of possession and trafficking of hard drugs and psychotropic substances.
The suspect was arrested in flagrante delicto trafficking drugs, where a search operation carried out inside his home resulted in the seizure of:
- 5 kilograms of heroin
- 900 grams of cocaine
- A light vehicle suspected of being used in trafficking operations
- A significant amount of money believed to be proceeds from criminal activity
The detainee has been placed under police custody pending judicial investigation supervised by the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of identifying other potential extensions of this network, uncovering all criminal acts attributed to him, and determining supply sources and potential destinations for these large quantities of hard drugs.
This operation represents a strong blow to hard drug trafficking networks in the Eastern region, especially as heroin and cocaine pose a major threat to public health and national security.
