In celebration of developments in territorial unity, Ahmed Zaki Al-Alawi Qualifying High School in Fez hosted on Saturday, November 15, 2025, an extensive scientific seminar organized in collaboration between the school administration and the Research Team in Didactics and Epistemology of Social Sciences, alongside the Regional Center for Education and Training Professions Fez-Meknes.
The scientific meeting, held at the institution starting at 10:00 AM, was titled:
“The Moroccan Sahara Issue: Historical Roots, Current Extensions, and the Future of Development”.
The seminar provided an opportunity to highlight the historical, political, legal, and developmental dimensions related to the Moroccan Sahara issue, as a national file of special significance, in addition to discussing the development dynamics experienced by the southern provinces under the new development model.
Participants from Elite Researchers and University Professors
The seminar was led by a group of university professors specialized in history, law, and political science:
- Dr. Moulay Omar Sossi Alawi: Research professor in history.
- Dr. Sanaa Boussouf: Research professor in public law.
- Dr. Mohamed Yass Al-Rakibi: Research professor in legal and economic sciences.
- Dr. Abdeljalil Bouchekhlaf: Research professor in political science and constitutional law.

According to the activity program, the speakers focused on several topics, including:
- The historical dimensions that confirm the Moroccan identity of the Sahara through centuries of clear connection between the Saharan tribes and the Alaouite dynasty.

- Major development projects taking place in the southern provinces and their role in strengthening stability and economic integration.
