The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced that it has referred the case of recent deaths recorded at a public hospital in the city of Agadir to the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office, following the completion of investigations conducted by the Ministry’s General Inspectorate.
According to a statement obtained by “Al-Oumq,” the Ministry decided to suspend the individuals involved as a precautionary measure pending the conclusion of ongoing judicial and administrative investigations related to the case.
The Ministry emphasized that it is closely monitoring the file, underlining its commitment to ensuring transparency in the proceedings and protecting the rights of all parties involved.
In a related context, the Ministry confirmed its ongoing efforts to improve the quality of healthcare in public hospitals as part of the comprehensive reform plan for the national health system.
