While acknowledging that some clinics help reduce the shortage of medical services in certain areas, his announcement sparked widespread debate.
In contrast, several actors in the private healthcare sector denied these claims, affirming that they have never received any public funding, financial or otherwise. A source from one of the largest private health groups told us, “This is completely false; the state has not given us a single dirham and we have received no financial support.”
The source added, “Even when we opened healthcare institutions in the southern provinces, we never requested any funding from the state.”
The source concluded, “We are publicly listed on the stock exchange, which easily disproves these claims. All our funding sources are private, transparent, and fully traceable.”
