In a security operation on the evening of Wednesday, July 23, 2025, police officers from the Hay Hassani district in Casablanca arrested two individuals originating from Sub-Saharan African countries. They are suspected of involvement in a case related to assault and battery combined with theft.
The National Security services received a report about an attack during a party held by citizens from one of the Sub-Saharan African countries in the “Al Ulfah” area of Hay Hassani. The attendees were assaulted by another group of African individuals, during which several thefts were recorded. Thanks to the prompt intervention of police patrols and units, two suspects were apprehended and order was restored at the scene.
The suspects were placed in custody under judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office. The preliminary information indicates that the incident stems from prior personal disputes between the involved parties, with ongoing investigations working to precisely determine the details.
