Ongoing investigations by the National Judicial Police with the detainee Younes (initial S.) in Souk El Arbaa Al Gharb have uncovered shocking details regarding the exploitation of social media platforms for defamation and cyber blackmail. The inquiries also revealed the involvement of TikToker Hicham Girando as a mediator in “digital prostitution.”
According to informed sources, Younes repeatedly attempted to lure a married woman, wife of a soldier, through social media applications. However, she consistently rejected and blocked him. Subsequently, Younes sought the help of TikToker Hicham Girando, claiming to possess information about drug lords to build trust with him, before using Girando as an intermediary to pressure the woman into engaging in extramarital sexual relations.
During the investigations, Younes admitted that he provided Girando with photos of the woman and instructed him to defame her in order to blackmail her and coerce her into marital infidelity.
In a related case, another suspect named Saad (initial S.), previously arrested in Casablanca, confessed to contacting Girando after his release from prison on embezzlement charges. He handed over information about his former company and the names of judges who ruled against him, aiming to tarnish their reputations and pressure them through false defamation campaigns.
The investigations concluded that all detainees exploited TikToker Hicham Girando as a tool to settle personal scores with their victims, using him in some cases as a mediator in blackmail networks or digital prostitution operations.
