Oracle has officially opened a new, state-of-the-art research and development (R&D) center in Casablanca, marking a significant milestone in the company’s technological expansion strategy across the African continent. This modern facility, built over seven floors, is designed to accelerate innovation in the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

Located in the Casanearshore Park in Casablanca, the center boasts modern infrastructure spread across seven ergonomically designed floors. The facility includes collaborative workspaces, an auditorium, a restaurant, separate gyms for men and women, innovative meeting rooms, and prayer rooms.
Equipped with the latest technologies, the center leverages Oracle’s cloud infrastructure alongside artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to develop solutions that will play a key role in the evolution of modern businesses and society.
Employment and Expansion
Currently, the center employs over 300 young Moroccan engineers, developers, and technicians. The ambitious goal is to reach 600 employees by the end of 2025 and exceed 1,000 highly qualified Moroccan engineers by 2027. This gradual expansion reflects Oracle’s commitment to investing in local talent.
Collaboration with Moroccan Universities
Oracle has established a strategic partnership with Morocco’s tech sector, including close collaboration with local universities. This cooperation includes:

The inauguration ceremony was attended by high-level figures, including Aziz Akhannouch, Prime Minister of Morocco, and Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.
