Under the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided today, Wednesday, at the Royal College of Higher Military Studies in Kenitra, the graduation ceremony of the 25th class of the Senior Defense Corps and the 59th class of the Staff Corps.
Official Reception and Military Honors
Upon arrival at the Royal College of Higher Military Studies, His Royal Highness was received by General Inspector of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Region, as well as the Dean of the Royal College. A formation from the Royal Air Force rendered a military salute to His Royal Highness.
Senior officers from the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces, including the General Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, along with civilian and military officials such as the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, the Governor of Kenitra Province, the Deputy Commander of the Kenitra Military Garrison, and faculty members of the college, also paid their respects.
Presentation of Diplomas and Honoring Graduates
His Royal Highness followed a presentation on “The Role of the Royal Armed Forces in Securing Borders,” after which he oversaw the awarding of higher military education diplomas, including specialized master’s degrees in national defense and staff corps certificates, to Moroccan and foreign officers graduating from both corps.
Following the ceremony, the Dean of the Royal College presented His Royal Highness with a selection of research works completed by the Senior Defense Corps class, highlighting their academic and scientific contributions.
Ceremony Conclusion and Graduates’ Profile
The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan alongside the graduating classes, which comprise a total of 296 graduates, including 77 officers from 28 different countries. This reflects the prestigious status of the Royal College of Higher Military Studies both nationally and internationally.
This event underscores Morocco’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its military capabilities and fostering international cooperation in defense under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
