Strengthening Cooperation Ties: Rabat Welcomes the New Embassy of the Republic of Kenya

The capital city of Rabat witnessed a significant diplomatic event today, Monday, with the inauguration of the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya, a step that signals a new phase of cooperation and partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Kenya.

The inauguration was jointly overseen by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, and the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, Mr. Musalia Mudavadi.

In a speech delivered on the occasion, Mr. Nasser Bourita emphasized that the opening of this embassy comes at a highly symbolic time, as both countries celebrate this year the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations, lending this step a historical dimension and strategic depth.

For his part, Mr. Musalia Mudavadi stressed that the inauguration of this embassy will mark the beginning of a new phase in the bilateral relations between Morocco and Kenya. He clarified that this new diplomatic edifice will provide a valuable opportunity for both countries to enhance the exchange of expertise and knowledge in several vital areas of cooperation, thus opening broader prospects for fruitful partnership between them.

This diplomatic development underscores the commitment of both countries to strengthening bilateral relations at various levels, serving common interests and contributing to the development and prosperity of their respective peoples.
