The Fes Medina District’s Health Preservation Department has announced its daily program for combating disease vectors, scheduled from May 6 to June 4, 2025. The campaign will cover all administrative areas within the district.

The program includes regular interventions to control insects and rodents, and to treat unsanitary hotspots in various administrative annexes. Operations will be carried out according to a specific schedule covering the following areas: Batha, Bouanania, Lamtiyine, البليدة, Bab Khoukha, Andalus, and Al Quaraouiyine.

According to the announced schedule, each area will benefit from interventions twice during the campaign period, with two consecutive days allocated for each intervention to ensure the effectiveness of the operations.

In an important note, the district indicated that immediate action will be taken in harmful locations according to urgent cases, in coordination with local authorities, elected officials, and civil society associations, reflecting a participatory approach in addressing this issue.

This campaign is part of ongoing efforts to maintain public health and improve the quality of life in the ancient city of Fes, with a focus on preventing diseases transmitted by these vectors.
